Lori Roper, advisor to the Pulp, Chatham High School’s literary magazine, reads a poem at last year’s Pulp Jam. This year the magazine will host the jam with musical performances, poetry readings and dramatic performances, “Pulp Jam Open Mic Night” from 7 to 10 p.m. Friday, Jan. 29. The event is open to the public. Tickets are $7 for adults and $5 for students.
